About The Artist

An amateur photographer all her life, Cynthia turned professional in 2003 after years of prompting by friends and family to “do something” with her work.

With a love for nature and the outdoors, Cynthia seems to be attracted to two extremes: wide expanses and intricate details.  Cynthia’s inspiration does not come from objects, patterns or colors, per se, but rather from the feelings that are triggered when noticing them. 

Her photography style stems from a very strong desire to pass along the feelings and emotions that she experiences when she stumbles upon her subjects in nature.  Hopefully the awe that is inspired out of her flows onto you when viewing her work.

A transplant from San Diego, CA, and Coral Gables, FL Cynthia has lived in the Asheville, NC area since 2004.  Her education is in Electronic Engineering and she caters as a hobby.  Her love of design and beauty together with her past in computers and software have led her to a career as a website designer where she is able to mix them both wonderfully and with great satisfaction.  Between the photography and the web design, Cynthia’s life is full of doing things she loves.

Cynthia is most grateful to her friends and family who have provided a priceless network of love, support and encouragement of her talent as she focuses more and more of her time to her photography.
